Wow, this book is unbelievable... So much info to help you in the wild. It's like 280 pages, covering all things, medical shelters, food, fires,etc.- and only $6. Thanks, josh

Don't think that just because you read this you can survive anything nature can throw at you. But you will be well on your way. Includes simple drawings to help emphasize points, and includes hints from shelter building, cleaning animals, cooking, preserving, field expedient weapons, medicine, etc etc. You can not go wrong with this book.

This book is really interesting and has helpful information for anybody in a survival situation.

Very interesting book with good plant descriptions, animal gathering advice, and etc. My favorite line from the book so far, in regards to fishing / food gathering is "A hand grenade exploded in a school of fish will supply you with food for days." If you look closely at the picture, towards the bottom, you will notice that this book is from 1970, so some of the information is dated, but otherwise great book. Also, for scorpions, typically the larger the pincers in relation to the body size is the best indicator for telling how dangerous they are.

I bought this to replace my actual handbook that I received while I was still enlisted. Somehow, it got lost in a recent move. Anyways, this is copied on cheap paper, and is incomplete. I think parts of it are out of order too. While it does have some of the same techniques, this is definitely not the real dead. Save your money and use it to buy the real book at another site. You'll really appreciate the difference.
