Product Description
This fine replica is patterned after a medieval broadsword and will be enjoyed by collectors and reenactors alike! This item features a stainless steel 17" blade and offers a cast metal handle with an ornate guard and pommel along with a black composite grip.
Despite the mixed reviews on this sword, I ordered it for my medieval collection and was very pleased when it arrived. It is solid, straight, attractive, and will make a very good addition to my collection.

This sword looks amazing. I can't put it any other way. It's not for hitting things with, though, as I soon found out. I swung it a few times and knocked it against a pole and the handle broke in half. It seems as if the handle is just three sections glued together. Still, it's an amazing short sword and looks awesome on your hip or your wall or wherever you want to put it.

The sword came in yesterday and i must say i'm quite impressed. I knew it was going to be short but that didn't bother me. The blade came very oily but cleaning it didn't take to long, it also came dull so i sharpened it as well. The blade is a strong steel and the hilt and handle are beautiful. The scabbard is also a nice touch. Really impressed with this product.

I was excited when I got the sword. It is smaller than I expected. There is a loose piece on the handle and scratches on the scabbard but it was a good buy.

first true swords are amazingly great at getting swords to you a day early! and the sword this Templar is a nice work of art to make any knight proud to bare it on to the battle field as for the length , duh its a short sword even says it in the description. nice point and not sharp so great for a collection. all in all i love this sword and look forward to buying from true swords again - Aaron

This is a Great product, excellent design and detail, very light weight. It is just a little too small for my taste though but besides that this sword is a great buy!!!!!!!!!

This sword is smaller than it is in the picture. It's a great collecters item. It's a little heavy though. it'll bring much joy to any collecter who loves fighting.

Small
Cool looking dagger perfect for paring it with my Templar Sword! the only thing wrong with it is that one of the rings on the Hilt was a little loose but overall a good Dagger. Love budk great products!!!!!

decent
The cross guard on mine was off centered very noticeably and the sword wouldn't go back in the sheath easily for a while, it would stick out an inch unless I used more force to shove it back in the sheath

great sword... only thing bad is the red cross in the hilt....looks cheap and mine wasn't put in straight

Dull blade, but cool looking
Despite the fact that the blade in incredibly dull and the handle starts to fall apart if you try to swing it for too long, the piece is attractive and makes a great decoration and is fun to show off to friends. If your friends don't have swords they will be like "Wow! You have a sword? That's so cool! Can I see it? BEAUTIFUL!!!" But if you have friends that have swords they will probably think it's cheap and a waste of money

good sword
This sword was way smaller then i expected but it was also alot thicker, which makes it stronger. the cross gaurd was just beautiful but it feels like it missed the heat treatment but i think its okay. it is not half tang like it said eather, the blade goes about 1 1/2 inches in to the handle. if you have a few hours to kill you can fix it up and it would be a great weapon but without fixing it its kinda a peace of crap.

quality was good but definetly a lot smaller than the picture. like a tad bigger than a letter opener.

review
Not what I was expecting but still a nice blade. More of a woman's weapon. Suppose I'll just give it to my girlfriend and pretend it was for her all along. Thanks Budk for some cheap gf brownie points! ;]

Black Prince sword
I bought many swords from BudK over the last decade. Usually I am very satisfied, but this sword is a piece of junk. It is cheap. It does not deserve a star.
