Product Description
Bushmaster will always have you covered in any situation whether you’re braving the Amazon jungle or the hunting trail! The Bushcraft Tactical Field Knife is a 1095 high carbon steel-bladed survival knife that will take any abuse that’s thrown at it. The 5 5/16” blade has a tough powder coat and the textured handle is fiberglass filled, injection molded nylon. A heavy-duty, reinforced belt sheath houses this fixed-blade. When you go out in the wild, you better have a Bushmaster!
Sometimes you’re looking for a great product at a bargain price and you really don’t find either or. This knife is both made well and priced so low, I almost felt like I was stealing it. The blade comes with a decent edge, ready to work but could easily get worked better with a stone and some time. The blade is also no joke as it’s thick, very heavy and comes with a blackened finish almost like truck bed spray. The weak point is at the handle which seems kind of light considering the burly blade but we’ll see when I put it to work. The sheath is surprisingly well made and houses the blade just fine. I recommend this knife for digging, chopping, slicing and any other field task. It’s priced so low, I’d pick up more than one and toss one in the truck or tool box.

how do I break it?
a winch might break it but I'm not willing to bet(on the winch). the quality seems to be very nice, way far more than expected. it came sharp enough but 20min free-hand file/diamond/stone/strop made it better. I would not choose it for food prep, but in a pinch, sure. the sheath is better than expected. I'm knocked out at the value.

MONSTROUS
It’s strong… It’s sharp… It’s freakin’ awesome! The blade is shockingly thick but very well balanced. Feels very sturdy and powerful in the hand. The 1095 high carbon steel can stand up to just about anything in it’s path. Hell of a survival knife - it’ll last you forever! The ergonomic handle offers a comfortable and reliable grip. A knife of this magnitude requires a sheath just as strong, and boy, did Bushmaster deliver!!! This has got to be the best nylon sheath I’ve ever used. Super thick and tough, with a hard plastic insert to house the blade securely. The best part is the velcro loop. It allows you to put the knife anywhere on your belt without taking off the belt! You won’t regret picking up this monster of a blade at the insanely low price. How does BudK do it!?

Toughest knife ever!
All I can say is wow. This has got to be the thickest, meanest knife I've ever owned. I own ka-bars, buck, sog, OKC and somehow this knife feels like it could outlast all of them. With the thickness and weight of the blade it's not the sharpest knife, but it's more than sharp enough to do the job it's made for. It's a knife you can trust your life with and at an unbeatable price

One heck of a knife
I'm a collector and have paid several times more than this for a knife that will do what this one is capable of doing. I like to say that each knife I receive is my favorite regardless of price. This knife is definitely worth calling my favorite for what that is worth. A survival blade it certainly is. The only real minus is that the knife rattles in the sheath; so you might want to be more careful sneaking up on a bear. I would think it is very unlikely you can damage this knife. Even though it was reasonably priced, don't lose it. You will cry for sure.

Beastly
If you're trying to pack light, this is not the knife for you. If you want a blade that you could use to chop down a small tree... Here you go. The spine of this blade is thicker than a lot of "tactical" tomahawks I've seen on the market. The handle is comfortable in hand and you'll feel extremely confident swinging this blade for chopping tasks. Handle texture could be more aggressive, but is easily customizable with a rotary tool or soldering iron. Lanyard holes easily accept 550 cord (even w/melted ends). Tang is super robust and the only holes are the two for the handle hardware and the two lanyard holes. Handle scales can be easily removed with standard Allen keys, making this a great impromptu spearhead. Love the fact that you can put the sheath on your belt without taking your belt off. Eyelets on sheath offer endless alternative mounting solutions. The, uhh... Shell holders? The elastic on the front of the sheath, is pretty useless, but can be removed easily if desired.
Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this knife. Even at full price, this knife is well worth it.

A Beast!!!
Great knife!! 1095 like my old Ka-Bar...... it came sharp but being a metal smith I obviously had to put a new edge on it. Razor sharp, durable to the max!

Bushmaster knifes
Knife and sheath better then most at price range. This is a all purpose for carry. You don’t need anyone to tell you it’s a great deal. The knife will not disappoint. Just do it and don’t lose it.

Wow this knife is huge! Super thick. Decently sharp. I think it will last a man a lifetime. 1095 carbon steel. Worth every penny and more. Thanks Bud K

Great knife at great price!
This is one hunk of beefy metal at an incredible price! First impression was the weight and thickness of the 1095 steel. I wasn't expecting it be so hefty and am glad it is. Although I just received it I can tell based on other similar knives I own that it's gonna hold up well to rigorous outdoor use. It has a very good heft and balanced feel in the hand. Contour of the handle is perfect for my hands, with a fore finger groove on the handle as well as on the blade that easily accommodates various gripping styles. The handle is a little slick being new but that should change with use or just wear a glove. It is full tang and the butt end can easily be used for smashing. Great outdoor and self defense feature. Sheath is very well made with a plastic insert that helps protect the material. This is a lot of knife at an incredible price. Along with the Buschmaster Smatchet, these two items make a great pair...and great gift idea for adventurous outdoor friends and family. 5 out of 5 rating easily.

Great knife
I love it except the handle is slick and hard for my old hands
