I agree with the oct. 25th entry from jake, as i have not put it thru its trial yet. I do like the knife and the design, but for $60.00 its not going to be a high standard like the tops tom brown tracker. I do think it may do ok for a camping deal. This is however my 3rd bushmaster product ive purchased and am satisfied with them and their performace, for the money invested.

Very Impressed!
I've used this knife for a few days now putting it through it's paces by chopping wood and making curly bits batoning etc. I must say I'm very favorably impressed. There are no nicks to the blade and no folds. It seems they got the heat treat right because it's very tough. It was delivered hair shaving sharp. It's fully hollow ground so a bit different than the TBT. But still very good!

Very Impressed!
I'm sure everybody knows you can't get a Tom Brown Tracker right now so I thought I'd try this one. Im actually very favorably impressed. I spent a couple days chopping and making curly strips and this performed very well! The entire knife is hollow ground and it chops very well. They appeared to get the heat treat right because I didn't get a single nick or fold with this knife. The notcher is rather scarey looking but it seems to work well. Just be careful with it. Handle is very pretty and we'll attached. Nice Job!

Good Woodland Multi-Tool
Was looking for an affordable and carriable emergency woodland tool capable of cutting, chopping, sawing, piecing, and digging. This knife does all that to a limited degree. Its not great at any of those tasks, but, like most multi-tools, it is capable. It held up well to batoning firewood kindling. The spine is 1/7th inch thick and the scabbard is sturdy and robust (two issues I had concerns with before purchasing). No regrets!

Machete Bladed Tracker Knife
I have handmade many tracker knives. I also own an original Tom Brown Tracker knife. I just love the design. But for personal carry or real life combat, they are heavy. Because Tom Brown wanted to design a knife/hatchet. The Bushmaster version is very lightweight with excellent mobility. The handle is extremely comfortable for any hand. The saw back edge is incredibly functionally with very aggressive teeth. And the sheath is actually one of the most comfortable Tracker knife sheaths out there. But it does have one huge drawback. Yes, the blade is razor sharp out of the box. That is because the whole piece of steel the knife is made out of is only as thick as a machete blade. To be precise, the thicknesses are exactly the same. So going out and chopping wood, not a great idea in my opinion. It doesn't have the weight to be a good chopper. Don't get me wrong, it's a great slasher knife. Just wish it would have been made at least with a Kabar type blade thickness. I question the blades overall durability being so thin. Just wanted to make potential buyers fully aware of what they are possibly purchasing.
