Product Description
This short Deer Skinner provides a curved cutting edge with a sharp point. It's ideal for cutting, slashing and skinning strokes. Features a 3 3/8" AUS-6 stainless steel blade and black horn handle scales. Includes a custom leather sheath with a belt loop and a snap button closure.
I bought the deer skinner and coon skinner as an edc. First of all, the knife is tiny. I mean the palm of my hand and I still have room small. The blade is thick. For a tiny knife, it’s got some weight to it. The bone handles are nice and do have some imperfections but it only adds character to the knife. I don’t know if I can see myself skinning a buck with this knife but as an every day task knife, all day. It’s an inexpensive knife that holds a lot more value than what it’s worth so go ahead and get two or more.

It's a 7.00 knife... I have one and for every day tasks this knife works great with a little sharpening. I wouldn't attempt to skin a deer with it. For that use a high quality sharp carbon blade. But not bad for 7 bucks at all!!!

I Beg To Differ
when faced with a slightly less then 280lbs buck, this little knife did a phenomenal job at some of the cuts that require a heavy amount of accuracy and precision. the finger hole aloud me to perform a scooping motion and a nice grip for tugging at the flank area. But I agree.. it came a bit dull. this knife lacked a sharp edge and I (not using my brain) decided to attempt skinning a buck without sharpening. but it still did great! I just sharpened it this morning. hopefully next round will go smoother.

Deer Skinner Short Knife
The knife overall has a nice feel when it comes to grip, but if really faced with a 300 pound buck, it wouldn't be a fruitful tool. Also didn't come very sharp.

not at all what you think
The skinner I bought was a very poor quality knife. The lettering on knife was faded, blade was so dull it couldn't cut warm butter, and the handle was 2 different colors.
