Product Description
This custom throwing axe is perfectly balanced to sail through the air with ease and nail a bullseye every time!
I can't believe how awesome these axes are! I put a barrel wedge in each one before using it and haven't had a single handle issue. These things are sharp af and stick deep in the wood. Very very awesome axes and high percentage of sticks. I ended up buying several more! Excellent metal, it has that "ring" if you know what I'm talking about ??

Damn good axe
Best throwing axes I have ever used. Solid hits every time and sturdy! I would buy more but they are out of stock!!! Absolutely worth the money

Amazing axe! Great for melee and ranged combat. I love the look and feel. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a great tomahawk at a great price!

great price
This item is obviously getting a bad press from most, however its a great looking wall hanger and cheap enough. For amateurs who want to throw, get a one piece steel. Everyone should know throwing is an art and until you got it down pat, don't throw anything wherein metal is married to wood...its all breakable even the heavy duty ones. Still it is a viable weapon and light utility tool. Worth the price

Wanted to try a new throwing axe
This is a very good throwing axe the handle is a little weak and started to split after 20 or so throws but it stuck every time i hit my target. I would highly recommend this to anyone who like to throw, I'm going to by another.

Purchased for my son
My family collects swords, weapons, and various items. For my son's birthday, I purchased this product. He loved it! If it had a sheath it would have made the product even better. I would recommend it for any preppers.

Good for the price
Will stick great into trees once sharpened. Mine stuck about 8/10 times from fifteen feet, and its only the second time i've ever thrown an axe. On about my third throw one of the blades bent but its still usable. The axe went a couple inches in a few times. The axe will stick if both the tips hit also. Has a nice feel and easy to throw.

Refurbished
Decent for the price, mine did come refurbished and is lower quality because of that. But good axe.

Seems ok
Only thrown it a few times so far, and it's held together. Kind of feels cheap, but so is the price. Seems ok for throwing at the old hatched block. I plan to get another.

verry nice
A verry nice peace with a good heft and balance, difficult to transporte, no sheath, witch is it's one major draw back.

poor handle . filled with wood putty
Made in Pakistan. Should say enough. Metal decent. Won't throw until I can find a carbon fiber handle I can shape to fit to replace wood putty fitted handle.

double throwing hatchet axe
throws good sticks like almost every time...then it breaks, ive had two and they both broke after a while, then after it breaks you can throw it like a batman star and it will also stick everytime.

Double throwing hatchet axe
I bought this axe as a wall hanger to go with other medieval swords and daggers. I took the handle off, attached a 20" hardwood handle with TWO brass rivets, added some round brass studs to the upper half, and wrapped the lower (grip)end with leather and added a leather lanyard. Looks terrific. I will order a couple more for throwing purposes, but will replace and reinforce the handle on them with good wood. Nice project piece.

okay for the price
i bought this and with three days the metal came off the wood and it broke the metal is just three parts put together and they came apart and now they r like throwing knives but for $10 it was worth it but if u want one that will hold up then i would go with the black ronin tactical tomahawk or the m48

used
I liked what I saw in the pic and old reviews but when I got it in the mail, i was pi**ed. They had sent me a used and repainted axe with cheap wood. Nice buy if u get a new one. Editor's Note: Thank you for your comments. We have updated the review to reflect the appropriate materials.

Will Break if Thrown
The handle is attached to the head with languettes/screws. While it can be thrown and will stick really well, the head will become looser with each throw and the handle will soon snap off. However, the axe is almost MORE fun to throw without the handle because it is like a really heavy-duty Batarang. I'm ordering another one and taking the handle and languettes off immediately.

Broken again
Like other comments here, two of my four broke during the first 15 minutes. The metal is obviously cast and fragile. They are well balanced and throw well, but I would not buy them again. They are a waste of money.

Two Down out of Four
Well they seemed like quality but after about 30 throws, One is broken and one is bent and ready to break. First I must say they are balance pretty well. I had them stuck with the first throws. One broke at the thin part going down handle and the other, the whole blade is bent and ready to break off. It looks like cast metal where it broke. As a wall hanger or for show I would say ok, not for actual use!!

I got two of these and day one I snapped the head off of one of them the actual head snapped not the handle would not recommend for use

Don't buy
Don't buy this it is a good display piece but other than that nothing else I threw it 4 times then on the 5th Time the top of the axe snapped beyond repair

For show only
This axe unlike the single bit, might have a chance to be improved upon. From the reviews I don't have much faith in the steel though. Buy these for show, router out the edge of a board stain it and mount the axe or plural. Gave mine away as a a gift, I wasn't impressed.I wanted something for practice throwing, and to quickly chose these. Buy full tang , even stainless works good. Mine have taken a beating and come back for more. Budk has a wide selection and competitive prices

BOOO!!
absolutely horrible! I bought three of them and it only took two throws and 2 axes were broken. 2 out of 3 and only 2 throws. Really? I pretty much just wasted my time don't waste yours
cameron Jan 08, 2014 (1 out of 5)

Throwing hatchet
On the first throw I stuck the hatchet and the metal ears that attach the head to the handle broke on both sides. When you are throwing the hatchet has to be strong enough to withstand the impact. This one did not. I will look for another design. Thank you

Do not buy!
This hatchet was a gift to me from my brother. When we unboxed the hatchet the first thing we noticed was that the head of it was held on with globs of wood putty. We decided to look past it's embarrassing assembly and hope that it preformed well. After about 10 throws into a soft wooden target the axe head litteraly snapped where it was bolted into the handle, thus rendering it completely useless. You are better off making your own hatchet if your going to waste your money on this one.

POS
I was so excited when I took this baby out of the box. I went outside to break her in.... and that's exactly what happened. I made a target out of cardboard and stuck it to a tree, 10 throws in and the thing breaks. DO NOT BUY.
jwattsthezombie Nov 16, 2011 (1 out of 5)
awesome till it breaks
I bought trying to get into throwing knives and hatchets thinking it was a good price. Unfortunately I got about 10 throws out it before it broke. IT was working like a dream, sticking in the target and everything but it broke on the metal plate that screwed through the handle.
