Very nice blade and handle. Sharp right out of the box, comfortable and easy to grip. Feels very sturdy and a good balance, the scabbard’s fit and finish is extremely good. The personalized engraving is great. A GREAT VALUE at a fine price.

I've owned several katanas, most being far more money than this. This katana out preforms nearly every single one. I love this sword because it's no frills. It's a great piece of steel stripped down to only the essentials.

I bought this blade as a training sword not bad for around 70 buck the sword arrived 3 days after I ordered it which was cool and the katana design build as a ninja battle sword definitely worth it if you don’t want to spend a good bit of cash 5 out of 5

This $65 sword is the real thing. It has appropriate weight and decent handling characteristics. The blade tested at around 55hrc and actually really is spring tempered. It comes with the edge nearly formed, but the buyer will have to finish it to sharp. I absolutely assaulted it against various targets and it didn't warp or bend. I used it against the handle of a steel kettlebell and other than the edge mashing in (normal and expected damage) it held together. I repaired the damage and then put it through more brutal chopping. No bends, no warps, no looseness in the handle wrap. The only flaw is that the tsuba is not tightly in place due to the way it is assembled, but for the price that is a minor concern (you can shim it). And, as mentioned, it isn't overbuilt and does handle like a katana should. Remarkable for $65.
