Honshu Fighter Knives

I bought this, so that I had a reliable fixed blade for my trail hiking. I usually hike trails that are very difficult, I strive to have as little gear as possible. The gear I do take, must be reliable. I have to say, that this knife can take a beating and not falter what so ever. The blade retained its sharp edge and after a little cleanup, was ready to go again. The sheath is well built and can also take a lot of damage without impairing it. All in all another excellent Honshu offering.

I took this knife with me to the stands, I needed something to skin my game, and this was the perfect knife. The double sided blade made it easy to glide right theough the tough skin.

This fighter knife was just what I needed!

I needed a good everyday carry knife and I found it. this knife has held up to the beating I have given it. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for an everyday carry.

Hair shaving sharp, grippy grip, full tang and made by Honshu! Whats not to love?

Wasn't sure what to expect having never purchased this brand but it seems fantastic so far (I have a high standard with knives). Solid construction, well balanced, VERY sharp. Engraving also looks good. Very pleased thus far!

This knife make me wish I was still active duty and is a fitting replacement for my old Gerber Mark II a few minutes of working this blade and you want to stick it in someone ! The weight and balance are phenomenal!!

The picture above does not do this dagger justice! With an almost 8 inch blade (it'll shave your arm hair OFF sharp) and no slip handle, I was not only satisfied, but also very impressed!!! The Tanto is my next purchase and I CAN'T WAIT to have it!!!

Exceptional dagger-style blade at 1/12th the cost of the Cold Steel Taipan. Sharp in the most intimidating way. I find the handle design a little less grippy than I'd like and the sheath lacks refinement, but both are forgivable for the cost. Good balance when held in saber, quarter saber, full or reverse grips. More damage per stab or slash than the Fairbairn-Sykes British Commando knife. Money well spent.

The best dagger yet! I have a few others in my collection. This has the best edge, ergonomics, and feel. Solid construction. The sheath is well done. One minor glitch, the knife guard made it difficult to push the knife all the way into the sheath. It may be the leather was a bit stiff. Not enough to take away a star.

Just got this blade today. I already bought the Honshu Tanto, so I thought this would be another great additon to my collection. This came sharp straight out of the box. For what True Swords charges for this knife, I call it a steal. This gets a 5 out of 5.

This knife is 13 3/4 in. overall for those who are curious. On [3rd party site] it says that this knife is 16" but that is not true. Great grip, blade came in tip top shape, and sharp enough to shave. Highly recommended.

Good for both slashing and stabbing (penetrated a slash vest like warm butter). Sturdy enough for heavy abuse and even throwing. Resharpens quickly to a shaving edge with my diamond stones and I highly recommend it regardless of the incredibly low price tag.

Perfect knife but the sheath was bad and split apart at the loop but i also bought the combat master 8" sheath and it fits almost like it was made just for it definitely worth it but the sheath is not

Just got this knife today. ONE complaint, the hand guard moves ever so slightly from side to side. Not up and down, it doesn't loosen the handle or anything, just a little play. Truth be told, my katana have more play in their tsuba, so it didn't cost this a star.

I was going to order this knife, but I see budk has recently put a shipping restriction to california. NOWHERE in the california penal code are double edge blades listed, it is not illegal to carry or own a double edge blade in california. I wish they would stop putting false shipping restrictions on their products.

This fighter knife is made ergonomically. Weight is nicely distributed from tip to tail. Slashing and trusting are smooth. For those who doesn't want to spend hundreds on a fighter knife, this Honshu Fighter will make a great choice! It also come with a sheath that fits well.

After purchasing the Honshu Tanto knife, I wanted to purchase the United Honshu Fighter Knife because of the quality of the above mentioned product.

It is a great knive, especially for the asking price, its heavy duty, well balanced, great rubber grip and not to mention razor sharp! I'm no longer a budk non-believer.

i like the knife but i wasnt really expecting something that big or thick

It looked good out of the box, impressive edge, threw it at a log target that I use for tomahawks, and the blade broke off at the handle. VERY disappointed.
