Product Description
Unleash your inner Viking with this brass-plated drinking horn. You'll hear the victory trumpets sounding as you pour another cold one down tonight with your new favorite cup. It is made from 100 percent natural cow horn and includes a table top stand.
For the price I paid, I'm pleasantly surprised the fittings didn't leak, the volume of the piece is worthy of heroes quaffing mead in Valhalla itself, and the wrought iron stand that comes with it is probably worth the price by itself! I was a little worried about a bit of glue visible on the inside but as I coated the interior with beeswax, that shouldn't be a problem and it's got a great scent now, too.

Drinking Horns
I purchased 3 of the Horn Drinking Cups. All arrived in good shape, no dings or scratches. The only problem I have is the bottom ring is to large for the horns I received. It makes it difficult to display them correctly. But, with a little balancing and put in a place were they won't be bumped, solved the problem. Nice display item.

Looks great, solid construction
Good, solid construction. The horn is well polished and looks great. Drinks do have an after taste, though. If you've ever worked cattle, the after taste reminds me of the smell of wet hooves. You know what I'm talking about.

Just ok
The horn itself was fine, pretty cool. However, the stand sucked big time. The horn didn't fit properly, it slouched way down so the top of the horn was below the upper yoke. The bottom hole was way to big. I reworked the stand and hot a proper fit.

Very unpleasant odor
The “Drinking Horn†I received has a very unpleasant odor. The brass band on the open end was severely bent and has several dints and dings, apparently from rough handling. The brass cone on the closed end also has several dints and dings and is discolored where the ball is attached and it was not attached to the horn. I was able to reshape the brass band to a generally round shape and secure the brass cone to the horn to make it suitable for my purposes, but I would never consider this an actual ‘drinking’ horn.

Decorators only!
This is a decorator item, not a drinking horn! Inside is unfinished cow horn (disgusting!) and horn/brass banding is not water tight. Bought for my son-in-law and had to essentially remake this item to be something useful. One star because it does look decent, but definitely not for actual use the way you get it
