Shinwa Purple Majesty Samurai Sword

Listen, "Purple Majesty" is a perfectly fitting name. This sword is regal. It stands out because of its royal purple. It is quite simply staggering in its beauty. I had to wait a long time to get it because it was out of stock. I picked it up a soon as BudK got more! Sharp...visually, as well as functionally. I'm glad that Shinwa makes its presence here in the United States this was. Longquan is on the map, and BudK cosigned....psssh! Golden tag team here folks. I've been shopping BudK since I was twelve. I'm fourty-one now. They know how to treat their customers, and keep the ferocious, and yet elegant, weaponry in stock!!

I'm a knife collector and only recently moved up to collecting swords. My favorite color is purple so when I came across this katana I knew it was an absolute must have. The other reviews are correct. It looks great in the pictures but it's absolutely amazing and stunning in person. The blade changes from a lighter purple like in the pictures to a very nice deep purple depending on how the light hits it. The one that I received is very solid and well built and came extremely sharp right out of the box. You won't regret adding this one to your collection!

This beautiful piece is mounted on my wall, on a two tier display, next to another BUDK purchase. The pictures don't do it justice. Trust me, it's way more gorgeous in person, and the pics are why I bought it. Let that sink in.... BUDK is where it's at.

This is my fifth Shinwa Katana. Very well made and absolutely beautiful. I love it.

This sword is a stunning and brilliant piece, nicely weighted and just overall amazing. Only problem was that mine fit a little too tightly in the scabbard and when I got it, the blade was a bit dull. Extremely nice blade at an excellent price
