Recipient was very pleased with the surprise $100 bag. Came with good selection of items. Definitely recommend.

Definitely feel like I got my money’s worth. Came with 2 pocket knives, one big Buffalo bill knife! And a zippo style lighter, pocket watch, and a couple survival stuff including small flashlights and ‘money’ wrapped tinder.

I got a steampunk pocket watch that works and a lighter! Not to mention a machete and a survival knife and a clothes hook video camera! Way worth it! If you’re on the fence then you should buy it! The one down side is that I got a good looking knife that had engravings for Mother’s Day. But still!

This is my second time ordering this and I have been impressed both times, lots of great quality items! Also a wide variety of items.

I have gotten three of this and I have never been disappointed, I also have gotten at least one of each of the other types of surprise bags,I've just been amazing by the quality on items available in this, it just keeps getting better. Love it

Bought this for the 56.99 it rates not expecting much just a bag of goodies for random christmas presents. I got it looked through it, checked budk prices on each one, totaled 185 dollars of things. Definatly worth the money.

This is the second "bag" I bought from BUCK, and this one is about as useless as they come. I figured it would have at least one pocket knife in this one, as the one I bought last year had 2 or so, but I did not expect what was shipped. I was sent all knives, and the majority being pocket knives (a total of 9 pocket knives!!), one buck knife, one Damascus type, and another hunting knife. What is this? This is horrible. The lack of variety is staggering, and this is the LAST time I will ever waste my money on this garbage.

I order a couple of these each year to fill in my Christmas shopping list. I always get nice items for gift giving and a couple of things for myself! You can't go wrong with some of the items I've received in the past. A big help for a guy with a small budget! Thanks!

I have ordered three of these so far. The first on and the second one I was very pleased. I made the mistake of ordering two months in a row, and they were exactly the same bag, every item was duplicated. So if you buy and plan to buy again, give budk time to get rid of the bags they already made, otherwise you will get duplicate items. But an awesome deal. I am happy, I will just be returning the in opened bag.

This mystery bag is epic! I've always loved mystery bags but this one is hands down the best one I've ever got the things I got in it was AK-47 bullet ice tray, timber wolf knife set, timber wolf handcrafted quality knives (it has 3 blades), timber rattler it's a Bowie knife with a smaller knife, legendary kriegar quality blades ( it's a pocket knife with a black handle and a blue blade), Marines desert warrior blade assist folding knife, shadow warrior (a blue knife with a samurai on the handle) and a kissing crane knife ( a beautiful gold, blue, turquoise, yellow, black and silver handle knife) my favorites are the Marines desert warrior blade assist folding knife, shadow warrior, and the kissing crane knife. I give it 5 stars, if I could give it 100 stars I would, my family loved the knives too they asked me if they could borrow $50 to get one.

This is my 2nd bag and I will be back for more. I only wish there was a way you could let me know when you change the bags so it's not a guessing game.

Got a nice Damascus kissing crane, a backpacking sleeping bag, a military knife, military flashlight, military watch, wallet and jungle knives set. Was able to give a few items as Christmas gifts and keep a few for ourselves. Very fun to get in the mail. Will definitely buy again.

Cant complain for the money you spend. It had a pretty good variety.

So I just received my second mystery bag from bud k and I must say that I am very pleased all of the items were very nice and I will use them all. No duplicates of anything at all so I am very pleased! If I could I would do 7 stars.

I just got my $100 mystery bag and am pleased with what I got. the only pice I could not use was the aluminum mess kit. I already have several steel mess kits so I will find a scout who needs one no problem. I also got a candle lantern and a solar shower I had been wanting one for a while now. as well as three knives one being a kissing Crain knife for my collection. thanks for the great bag. I will be buying another one in a few months so I don't get any duplicates.

My bag had 5 knives, survival kit, lantern, pocket saw, John Wayne $00.50 coins that were worth $50 together. Great bag

i got a couple kissing crane knives, wasnt super excited about those. but i also got a solar charger, a hat, a dagger, a commando knife, a hand saw, waterproof field book, and a windproof lighter. so all in all it was a good purchase! will probably get another one soon.

I bought this about a week ago i love everything i got. I am very happy I purchased this.

I took a chance and ordered 2 of these and I know you get good and not so good stuff but I am very pleased with my purchase. The large items, including a pair of sai's and a Honshu Karambit , I received in each box. I also received a couple pocket knives and a variety of things you think about getting but never do. All in all I was surprised by not receiving anything I would call disappointing. Will order these again!!!

I thought it would be fun to order one of these, and to make it more enticing it was free shipping and 15% off. When the box came and I was disappointed with the contents and did not feel the value was anywhere near $100 claim. ,I contacted customer service who were extremely helpful and explain that the cost was based on their full retail of items which is where the hundred dollar value came from, so if an item is selling for 29.99 on their website they may still value that single item at $50. What I received in my box was a timber wolf Bowie knives made in Pakistan, a decorative wolf knives made in China, last season's kissing crane Christmas knife, a shaving razor made in Germany what was the one item that seem to be a good quality, and a chainmail wine bag which I could not figure out what it was and had to go onto the BUDK site and look it up. I put the value of the items that I received at about $60 at current market price, the knives are so poorly made that I will not even give them out as gifts. I will not be ordering any of these type of bags in the future although I am subscribed to the mystery survival box and was very impressed with its contents. Customer service did offer a refund or replacement for sending the items back at my expense but it is just not worth the money or time for me to do that. I do feel that they have a great customer service team and response.

I felt like a kid at Christmas, excited and nervous. I reached in the box and pulled out 1 item at a time with my eyes closed... I discovered 3 kissing cranes, 2 keychain knives, 2 Kriegar assist open, damascus blade ulu, and an airsoft type skeleton mask - lots of fun, enough to share. Well over $100 retail !

I took the gamble on the $49.99 surprise bag after being pleased with the $26.99 option. This grab bag FAR exceeded my expectations. I feel like I was very lucky. I received 3 novelty folders, one that looked like a revolver, one that looked like a German WWII grenade, and one that looked like a blunder buss. All three were very small but they seemed like bonuses they threw in to sweeten the deal. I got a neat leather wine bota, so I can pretend to be Robert Baratheon on his final hunt. I got a cool little United Cutlery secret agent stinger II dagger with a shoulder harness. I also received a really cool decorative tomahawk peace pipe which actually looks very usable...for tobacco of course. I would have honestly been almost content if it ended there. The piece that made my JAW DROP was a buffalo bone handled DAMASCUS STEEL Timber wolf dagger with leather sheath. I am not talking a cute little dagger. This thing is about a foot long with a blade slightly over 6". It feels very sturdy, robust, and very usable. It is also absolutely beautiful. I would have paid more than the grab bag costs just for this knife. It also shows the fun of these grab bags, because I like Timber Wolf and had no idea this knife existed. Well done BUDK. I already ordered my second $50 grab bag...the SAME DAY I received this one.

This was a really good deal. I loved it and I got a lot of knives. One of my kissing crane knives was faded a little bit, but it was overall a good purchase

Just got my mystery bag in today had several great knives best ones were two Timberwolves and one timber rattler Bowie knife. Definitely worth the price and a great way for new collectors to start out or those that don't have much money to spare!

I was so excited to get my mystery bag, I guess that not knowing is what made it exciting, but when I received it, it was a disappointment, I have to say value wise it was at or over the $100 mark, but that was mostly made up by the 2 Kissing Crane knives, I'm jus not into them, just didn't receive anything of interest!!!! I did return, I thank BudK for being a man of their word!!!! Thanks a dedicated buyer!!!

I got the grab bag to help with Christmas shopping and I was not disappointed in the least, I got a field cleaning kit, a Kit Rae throwing axe a really nice survival knife and a Black Legion knife with a bottle opener on the back and green skulls all over (keeping this for myself) among other things. I am crazy happy with my purchase, this is a sweet deal.

I was really happy with my order I got a kitchen knife with a wet stone, 2 cheap pistol knives but will work good for on a key chain. A spring assisted knife not sure what it's called, a black legion folding knife and a sweet 2 peice hunting knife set that I will definantly use and a cheapo whistle that has a thermometer and a flint on it and a survival card definantly worth the money even tho I kinda took a chance seeing the reviews if I order another one I'm expecting a good surprise and if I do I will continue to purchase these

I was surprised (i know) at the contents, that came in a plastic thank you bag. 5 kissing krane knives, Budk priced at over $19 each, that topped it right there. Then I got 2 more knives, timber wolf, at over $45 Budk price (both). I got an arrowhead looking rock, made in india... lastly I got two knife cases, one being a timber wolf leather display case, the other is harley davidson; I also got a mustang 40th anniversary pin. Overall Budk value: $180, retail:$300ish, not a bad buy for $35.

the Surprise Bag 100$ value was very nice got afew pocket knives a nice dagger would order again for sure.but i will stay away from the 50$ value bags tomany nonesense things like coins arrow heads buttons.

i got 10 things it gives some of the same thing but its worth the price

Great stuff in my bag, high quality Kershaw, awesome S&W assisted folder, great little flashlight, pretty solid lighter and some fun stocking stuffers. Only disappointment was it didn't actually come in a burlap bag. Will definitely be getting another one of these every time I order, and probably another one this week for more Christmas swag.

I received my surprise bag this morning. I was very eager to tear open the box to see what I got. I got about 2 fixed blade knives, and about 6 or 7 folding knives. I also got a kubaton and a flashlight with a moose on it. I kept on thinking that the box was done with, but I kept on picking out more and more little folders hidden in the packaging. I was not disappointed, and was incredibly pleased with my surprise bag. I intend to buy another one next time I get a chance. Thanks budk!

Definitely worth the money. There was a decent selection of items, 2 fixed blades, 3 throwing knives, 4 pocket knives, a 3 blade claw, zippy lighter, nylon rope, gloves and a face mask. Not sure about the Trump hat and stamp...but overall I'm pretty happy!

I got decent stuff different blades and a few gadgets. I didn't get anything spectacular but I would buy it again.

I've tried this $100 dollar bag for $56 about 4 or 5 time now and have always been more than satisfied. usually plenty of knives and a few survival things that may or may not have value for me. (can always give them to someone else). This last time is the first time I felt I didn't get the $100 worth. I'm sure it was worth the $56 but some of the things seemed like toys and would not be reliable in a real world situation. That said, the main Items - Survival Knife, Rope, Gun Sling - things like that were of good quality. Not as many knives this time as I usually see in the bags but I'll wait a few months for the inventory to change and give it another try. I would usually rate it 4 or 5 stars this last one 3 1/2 stars.

Okay so I ordered in May got it June 1st today i had two Kissing crane knives one Iwo Jima, one Be my Valentines that's cool I suppose as I have no other Kissing Crane knives, a Timber Wolf folder, a Shadow warrior folder also, a blue type bowie pretty decent enough no markings for brand,a SHTF survival bowie sawback knife which is pretty cool, so all in all 6 knives which is cool as hell, a carabiner biungee cord which is like oh ok, survival kit by Trailblazer pretty cool little thing, 4 40 waterproof matches by Trailblazer, a Tactical pen which is always cool, a Trailblazer 3 in 1 auto tool which has Glass breaker, belt cutter, and hand crank flashlight. All in all decent enough pretty cool, I wanted a solar shower but it is cool every single knife already has a sharp blade and I am sure when I sharpen them even better will happen, my nine year old daughter destroyed the box with the SHTF knife LoL! Will of course make another purchase in the future. Only thing that suck is with standard shipping takes forever two weeks from GA to Ca but other then that and that's Fedex issues due to storms etc. Next time I will just pay for shipping.

i got a black legion skull knife and that was pretty cool,and i got a secret agent throwing set it has 3 throwing knives in it,and then i got a tactical pistol knife in black kind of disapointing,then i got a ozark damascus lockback and the bone in the middle is real bone too,and then i got a gerber i think it's called fiskars it's gray with a hard plastic case feel's durible,and the last thing i got was a green survival bracelet

I have tried these "bags" before and they have been iffy. I went into this one to see it was back ordered. Because of that, I revisited to read the reviews and that was not good. Long story short, I have to say BudK came through. I received a nice Lansky sharpener, survival bracelet, rampage stiletto, Timber Wolf Hunting set..... and the big prize, a Gerber Epic valued at $35.99. It was a gamble but I was glad I did it this time.

i got some high quality stuff like a kissing crane knife a nice timber wolf folding knife a mini survivor knife a kershaw fillet knife two more timber wolf hunting knives which i really liked and some buttons and a knife case and a knife polisher i got 11 things over all a tiny bit disappointed probably 80 bucks in retail but you do get 20 bucks worth of free stuff must buy thanks budk by the way all really sharp

Almost everything was of good quality. 3 of the knifes were very good even. One was so so and the last was probably a great knife just kinda ugly lol. I also got a iffy knife sharpener and a couple of Nazi themed items that were tossed immediately. Despite it all I'm really pretty happy with the stuff and I think it was worth buying in fact I'll probably get another bag sometime.

Got close to $100 worth of stuff. Will do this again in the near future. Kershaw folder, couple of Kissing Crane folders, S&W and UC assisted folders, UC folder, key chain, hat pin, and a nice UC "Get The Edge" carry bag.

I have to admit I was a little disappointed with the content of the surprise bag. I got a Kissing Crane folder, a Krieger Damascus folder, a Kubuton, a Spike Bracelet, and a couple of pins.

I miss the old days of good "surprise" bags from BUDK. Adding the value up I barely reached what I paid for the bag. Its supposed to be worth $100 but in reality its just shy of the $50 paid. Thats if you want the junk pocket watch and lighter. I know this review will never be seen. All my reviews are blocked because I'm honest in them. I do show what I buy on YouTube...not that that matters. I had high hopes for the Timber Rattler but it is one of their Chinese sets. The Pakistan knives from Timber Rattler are way better quality and style. You need to wait about a year on these before ordering another, otherwise you get the same duplicate items. Trust me. I've fallen victim before. Rated 3 star in hopes the review will actually be seen. But in reality its a 1 1/2 at best.

I usually buy this box once a year and have been happy. This time though I only received 3 blades. Two of them being flip blades. The rest was survival gear. In the past it was mostly blades, which this magazine is. I figured to buy another hoping for more blades. I guess I bought them to close together (a week apart) because I got exactly the same stuff in the second box. I am disappointed but it's a mystery box right.

There were a lot of black legion products which I have a lot of already. There are c couple items which were different like a Ridge runner knife and tool set in a good size foldable nylon bag and there was a good bowie knife. The only non bladed item was a ranger pacecounter. It would have been 2 stars if it were not for the bowie!

if you are going to spend money on a shadowed box, my advice would be to spend the 49.00 on things you actually want. don't get me wrong this is good for a thrill. but you will still be laughing. the box was filled with brown paper and a plastic bag wrapped, with the items bundled toghether. as i said in the beginning if you are going to spend 49 bucks, get what you want.

I just got off the phone with Budk Customer service about this product as I did not receive $50 Worth of merchandise in my bag, The lady was very nice, and asked her supervisor about the situation. So everyone knows, The "$50" is the suggested retail price of the items in your bag. Not the Budk prices. They should include this detail in the item description, but here it is in case they never do. Budk prices I received $28 worth of items, so apparently the retail value was $50. Make note of this before you order a surprise bag.

I got three kissing crane knives, two little Keychain knives, an air soft mask I will never use, a rainbow pocket knife, and a Damascus ulu that I don't have a use for.

i got my surprise bag today, it was not what i expected. i thought it would have a lot more knives in it. i got 2 knives (both ridge runner) and a cool pen. and i got a collector coin set. i don't collect coins. so to me this is worthless. I'm sure that someone would be thrilled to get this stuff, but for me personally i was expecting more knives.

This package deal is not what I expected. Half is okay, the other half is junk. You are better off choosing your own items unless you like to collect things.

In the past I got the grab bags and was pretty happy. This time...not so much. This time I ended up getting a sharpener, a letter opener, a knife so small its no bigger than a quarter, a really small knife pin, 3 little pocket knives(2 of which were the same one....just in different kind of boxes)and a kershaw lock blade(14$). I don't normally complain about things but this time they dropped the ball. I don't think ill take anymore chances on the surprise bags. Don't let this turn you away from these, the last couple bags I got were great. Just this time....wasn't.

I really was expecting more or better quality. I got 6 pocket knives, 1 key chain,1 knife sharpener(not a good quality. bought the same one but different color that broke in 2 weeks. This one will probably do the same)and 2 buttons(why the h**l did I get them).

i'll solve the "mystery" for you. Its not random items, its stuff they cant get rid of. I got the following, which was suppose to be "$100 worth of merch" . 1 arrow head, 1 bag of arrow heads, some rope , plastic mobster coins and 2 knives no loger than my ring finger. Ive been shopping here for over 10 years and this disgusts me. Trust these reviews and avoid this! AVOID! You should really be ashamed of yourselves , selling this junk to your loyal customers.

This bag was a joke. There were only four items in the bag, and only one of them being an actual weapon;that knife being a "Thanksgiving" themed knife. The items in the bag didn't even come close to being worth $100. I am sending mine back for a refund.

I guess I should've read the reviews first. After ordering the $100 surprise bag, i was extremely disappointed. It seems like they have a lot of mob collection coins which I don't know ANYONE that would pay $40 for that they want to get rid of, tactical pens that don't work and basically junk.The ONLY thing that was ok was a kissing crane knife, but that was not enough to make it close to worth it. I'll have to think awful hard before buying anything again.

well, gotta say, i´m kinda dissapointed! i ordered the 100$ surprise bag plus the zombie survival surprise bag worth 39.99$ and i got: Undead Meltdown Throwing Knives & Target Set 29.99 Apocalypse Survivor Sawback Survival Bowie with Sheath 12.89 a united cutlery mini boot knife woth 9.99 i guess - to small for picking teeth but those things were ok, what followed was just cruel ... as a big the walking dead fan and apocalypse prepper weirdo i ordered from budk via international shipping which was really fast i must say - thanx to dhl i guess - ok, here are the other things i got : a tactical pen that doesn´t write, a heavy throwing thingy which looks like a cross, an american mob collectible coin set, a kissing crane collectible coin and a knife that looks like a lady´s shoe... zombies gonna laugh at me!!! the plan was getting some knives when ordering at a knife store - not golden plastic coins... sorry guys, no recommendation

Only had 4 items and 2 of them book value of 9.95 each. Other 2 not even in the book but don't believe there was 80.00 worth.

I tried this because all the great reviews people give it. It really sucked. Don't let others choose for you. you'll be a whole lot happier picking the items you want. i.e. Three kissing crane leg knives. all the same pink color. Kissing crane prides themselves about 100 years of German quality but there made out of china and japan. I was not impressed. Fake civil war minie ball from china,thumbs down. Camel bone necklace thumbs down. space tec pen thunbs down. 2 folding knife cases 1 with leather string broken. thumbs down again. Will not waste money on a grab bag ever again.
